As the first AATMA registered and trained Blower Door Testing providers in our region, this move aligns with our steadfast commitment to lead in home insulation and natural lighting solutions. As changes to the NCC are rolling out, particularly focusing on thermal conditions including insulation, soundproofing and air tightness, we remain ahead of the curve, ready to help homeowners make appropriate adjustments.
Blower door testing, a technique that measures the airtightness of a building, will significantly enhance the quality of our services. The test uses a powerful fan, mounted in an external doorway, to create a pressure difference between the interior and exterior of the building, effectively determining the air leakage rate. By offering this service to our existing clients, we aim to aid in building more energy-efficient homes and improving overall indoor air quality throughout the Mid North Coast region.
